Your coffee taste weak, what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong, you are probably used to store bought coffee. Store bought coffee is roasted and packaged to sit on store shelves for weeks to months so it's roasted to accommodate. It has to be roasted longer to counteract its shelf life. A freshly roasted coffee is roasted to perfection and usually needs to be "dialed in" much like your hi-fi system if you are not used to it.
1st suggestion: Try more grounds... a ratio of 16:1 or 17:1 is usually considered the golden ration, while 15:1 or even 14:1 is for stronger cups or coffee aficionados. I found I was using less grounds with store bought coffee than what I prefer with Audiophile Coffee. It took fine tuning to dial it in.
2nd suggestion: Test the temperature of your water. A great cup needs to be brewed at the right temperature to extract the the proper amount of oils, sugars, and acids. Aim for between 195°F to 205°F. Anything less may be robbing your coffee of flavor. Most cheap drip makers do not reach this temp or may come just shy, robbing you of possible flavor.
3rd Suggestion: Look into skipping the coffee filter. Some cheaper paper filters can strip out too much flavor. Invest in mesh filters or even a French Press.

Your coffee is too strong, what's wrong?

Probably the opposite of above. You may be using too much grounds in your brew or your brewing temperature is too high. Experiment with your ration and temperature.

Try these suggestions to dial in your perfect fidelity. Trust us, you'll be pleasantly addicted to the process.
