Behind the Coffee- Q&A

Behind the Coffee- Q&A

At its core, this is about experience. What you’re drinking, what you’re listening to, and how those two things can elevate each other.

Everything behind it is pretty straightforward. Here’s how it’s put together.

Q: Do you roast coffee in your kitchen?

A: I do not roast the coffee, I partner with a roaster who roasts fresh once an oder is placed and ships fast to ensure the purest flavor

Q: Is AI making all your album art?

A: No. This started as a creative outlet, so every bag is designed by me. I may use AI as a tool to "sculpt" so to speak, but the direction, theme, concept, and final look are all mine.

Q: Do you even know what AI is?

A: Yes, and I use it. A lot. But it’s a tool, not the brain of the operation. For example, some ads are created with AI since this is a start up. Im wouldnt be able to afford professional photoshoots. I feed AI my actual products 3D renders and guide it until it matches exactly what I’m going for in an ad. Most of what you see took way more trial and error than you’d think.

Q: Were your prices also "years" when you launched?

A: yes, good catch. We could only temporarily match the years with the theme of each roast. We wished we could have keep it perpetually.

Q: Are the flavor names tied to the music themes?

A: Loosely. The idea is to match the vibe more than follow a strict rulebook. What type of roast would match the vibe of 60s modernism? (a Single Source Medium Roast) Would a light bodied citrusy roast vibe with radio edits or deep bass thumping techno jam? (definitely not bass thumping). A roast may match a format or vibe, or may match a genre. Its up to you to match what you feel is best. Im just paving the way with suggestions.

Q: Is your coffee only for Audiophiles?

A: Not at all. It’s for anyone who loves coffee, music, creativity, or just enjoying things a little more intentionally. The idea is simple: Its an attempt to get people to drink coffee, listen to music, and 'pay attention to the details' in order to enhance the experience of BOTH.

Q: Do I have to listen to vinyl while drinking First Press?

A: No, its merely a suggestion and a vibe. Listen to Beastie Boys on Spotify or AC/DC on your Zune, go nuts.

Q: What if I don’t know anything about audio gear?

A: Perfect. You don’t need to. This isn’t a test. If you like coffee, you’re in. If you're rocking a tube amp and vintage vinyl you're also in!

Q: Why should anyone drink Audiophile coffee?

A: Because most coffee is just… coffee. This is meant to be an experience. It’s about slowing down for a minute, putting something good on to listen to, and actually enjoying both. If that resonates, this is for you.

Q: Why not just buy cheaper coffee somewhere else?

A: You can. This just gives you a different experience if you’re looking for one. Is it on the pricey side? Yes and thats because its roasted fresh. Its not mass produced and sitting on shelves for months.

Q: Do you have more roasts coming out?

A: Yes, stay tuned.

Q: Do you intend on making variant art bags?

A: Great question! yes, my plan is to rotate designs, or introduce collectible variants. Its all still a work in progress but part of the original direction of this is to make you want to display your coffee as much as you display your music!

Q: Can I submit artwork?

A: Hmmmm not a bad idea. Lets wait and see. Maybe.
